Open Water Diver Course

During this course, you will be introduced to the theory portion which you will be required to pass the quizes before you are allowed to embark on the pool training sessions. The purpose of the pool training is equip you with the basic scuba diving skills required as a Open Water Scuba Diver prior to the actual sea dive. You will need to complete 4 dives in the open water under the strict supervision of our PADI accredited instructor. With that, you will officially be certified as a diver with a lifetime membership and you can start embarking on you scuba diving adventure journey.
Our PADI Open Water Diving course consists of three main phases:
To understand the fundamental principles of scuba diving. You will receive either an online e-learning materials or study booklet for self-studying prior to the confined water training.
2) Confined Open Water Training
Confined Water Training are conducted in water bodies with condition clear like a swimming pool. The sessions cover mastering essential scuba skills, including a walk through on the skills development on the day prior to your open water dives to ensure you are well-trained.
3) Open Water Dives
Open Water Dives are conducted under the supervision of a PADI Instructor to reinforced the skills learnt and of course, with fun dives facilitated. Fundamental skills of scuba diving both in and out of the water will be taught to ensure highest standard of safety is being observed.

Upon registration, we will provide you with the PADI course materials so you may start learning and begin your first step into your dive journey. The materials will either be available to you through e-learning – Open Water Diver (available on iOS, Android and via Web Viewer) or the Open Water Diver Manual and Open Water Diver Video (a book and video that can be watched via youTube).
As part of your PADI Open Water Diver course, you will be introduced to all diving equipment required such as the mask, snorkel, fins, regulators, weight belts, buoyancy control device (BCD) and of course the scuba tank. Equipment use will varies, depending whether you are diving in tropical, temperate, cold water, altitude conditions.
Your course fees will include the full set of scuba equipment needed for the entire course. However we highly recommend to invest in your own personal mask & snorkel, fins and wetsuit prior to the confined water training session. There are benefits in doing so. Such as allowing you to feel much more comfortable, improve your adaptability quicker when using your personalized equipment. Little or no adjustments will be need for subsequent dives as well. In addition, you do not have to worry much on hygiene issues with your own personal scuba gears.
- No prior experience with scuba diving is required.
- 15 years of age and above
- Good health and reasonably fit
- Comfortable in the water
- Able to swim 200 metres with no swimming aids
- Able to tread water or float for 10 minutes with no floating aids
NOTE: You should be in a good healthy state, otherwise a doctor’s opinion should be sought when in doubt.

Meet Your Instructor
Operation / Instructor Brandon started scuba diving in 1998 and since then dedicating his passion for a life long devotion towards the marine environment.
For these past years, he has traveled and explored numerous dive destinations around the world. In 2016, he adopted a marine conservation profile, and joined The Hydrous (thehydro.us), a non-profit 501c organization as an ocean ambassador. In the same year & 2017, he fulfills the first maiden science expedition to The Maldives working alongside with marine biologists from the United States of America. Brandon decided to take a step forward and went on to pursue his Instructor development with PADI thereafter. Besides endorsing and providing training based on the PADI system dive education, he wishes to use science and education to help people re-imagine, design and create a better world. He is also spending a lot of time getting immerse looking through the camera lens for underwater photography (you may view the pictures in the gallery section).
