Scuba Dive With PADI

Once you are certified as a PADI Diver, you will carry the most sought after and respected credentials in the scuba diving world. Your PADI certification is widely accepted and recognized no matter where you choose to dive. In fact, you will find yourself surrounded by other PADI certified Divers on most scuba diving trips. Most divers have made the decision to train with the world’s most respected and largest scuba diving training organization.

Steps To Become A Scuba Diver

All scuba diving agencies that are registered are required to adhere to World Recreational Scuba Training Council (WRSTC). For the Open Water Diver certification, there are three steps in the learning program:

Step 1) Theory Learning

PADI scuba diving courses requires the student to either have a manual or e-Learning access. You will be required to watch a video focusing on safety as well as equipment. Under PADI’s requirement, new scuba divers are required to sit for a written test which comprises of 4 quizzes and a final exam.

Step 2) Confined Pool Skills Development

For our scuba diving courses, we will conduct a series of essential skills development in a swimming pool. This will allow you to gain the confidence and competency prior to the actual diving course in the open sea. You should also be able to fulfill the swimming criteria i.e. able to swim 200m non-stop as well as to thread water for 10mins unassisted.

Step 3) Required Ocean Dives in Open Sea

In order to complete your basic training, you need to fulfill the minimum number of 4 training dives. New scuba divers are also expected to perform some of the skillsets taught in confined water independently as guided by our instructors.
